Qualifications

• Code welding experience per ASME Sec. 8/9, B31.3, AWS D1.1, AWS D17.1.
• Mechanical aptitude for a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret assignments and drawings.
• Basic mathematics related to welding.
• Weld tests: 3G plate and 4G plate tests.

Responsibilities

• Weld non-code and code articles to satisfactory quality.
• Operate GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per welding procedures.
• Meet safety standards and contribute to a collaborative team.
• Repair and fabricate items using cutting, burning, and welding.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and work area.
• Drive a forklift safely as needed.
• Assist in developing welding and fabrication skills in the team.
