Qualifications

• Welding experience with Code and non-Code work per WPS.
• ASME Sec. 8/9, B31.3, AWS D1.1, D17.1 experience preferred.
• Able to read blueprints and weld to exact tolerances.
• Safety-focused with ability to work in a fast-paced shop.
• Willingness to adapt to team environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• Forklift operation familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Weld Non-Code and Code articles to satisfactory quality.
• GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS.
• Weld to expectation and adapt to 100% NDT as needed.
• Process materials with accuracy and efficiency.
• Operate oxy-fuel, plasma, saw, mag-drill, and grinder.
• Use shop and personal tooling safely and appropriately.
• Drive a forklift safely and appropriately.
• Contribute to team development of welding and fabrication skills.
• Be a SAFE, accountable, and proactive team member.
