Job summary

L&L Fabrication, INC. is seeking a Weld II to operate from the Douglas Weld Shop. You will weld per Code or Non-Code requirements, adapt to fitting and team support, and contribute to a safe, productive environment.

Second shift offers a $2/hr differential; the shop emphasizes quality, safety, and on-time delivery. This full-time role requires reading specs and working across multiple welding processes in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Code Welding Experience (ASME Sec. 8/9, B31.3, AWS D1.1, AWS D17.1).
• Mechanical Aptitude and manufacturing awareness.
• Ability to adapt to welding, fitting and team development roles.
• Commitment to SAFETY, quality and on-time delivery.
• Ability to read instructions and follow specifications.
• Strong reading/listening skills for job instructions.

Responsibilities

• Weld Non-Code and Code articles to satisfactory quality.
• Perform GMAW, FCAW, SMAW per WPS.
• Weld to expectation and handle 100% NDT when required.
• Operate oxy-fuel, plasma, saw, mag-drill, and grinder.
• Use shop and personal tooling safely.
• Drive a forklift safely and appropriately.
• Support team development of welding and fabrication skills.
