Job Description

• Greet guests with a pleasant smile and enthusiastic attitude; provide ongoing, attentive service to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Communicate accurately and friendly with guests and co-workers when serving beverages, handling transactions, and providing change.

• Walk, bend, stand, and carry or balance a serving tray over the length and width of the vessel for 95% of the shift.

• Finalize transactions using multiple POS systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and tokens.

• Maneuver, reach, and stoop in the bar area to obtain beverage ingredients and products.

• Perform duties individually or in tandem with others.

• Read and properly utilize cleaning products.

• Operate banking equipment and use math skills for transactions.

• Lift and maneuver weights of up to 20 lbs.

• Have working knowledge of specialty glassware for beverages.

• Maintain a sense of urgency.

• Possess product knowledge of alcohol, liquors, and wines to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.

• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor or manager.

• Obtain a beverage permit within 30 days of employment.

• Previous food & beverage or beverage serving experience is preferred.
