Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Michael Jordan Steak House General Manager.
  • Cooperate and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Interact with guests professionally.
  • Promote the restaurant's image through impeccable manners and tact.
  • Serve food and beverages according to established standards.
  • Upsell specials, meals, and beverages, and answer guest questions.
  • Relay orders accurately to the kitchen and bar.
  • Maintain knowledge of food preparation, allergies, and beverages/wines.
  • Monitor guest needs and fulfill requests promptly.
  • Keep side stations stocked, clean, and organized.
  • Assist with setting and clearing tables, and maintaining station equipment.
  • Attend pre-meal briefings and training sessions.
  • Ensure personal grooming and uniform standards are met.
  • Comply with health, safety, and hygiene policies.
  • Handle cash and bill presentation professionally.
  • Communicate courteously with guests and staff.
  • Participate in meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proficiency in English.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Food hygiene awareness and basic training.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Legible written communication.
  • TIPS certification (before or after hire).

Additional Information

The salary range for this role is $13.40 to $14.51 per hour. Pay will be based on various factors including experience and performance.
