Job Description

• Greet guests with a pleasant smile and enthusiastic attitude; provide ongoing, nurturing attention to guest satisfaction.
• Communicate accurately and friendly with guests and co-workers; serve beverages with repetitive motions; handle transactions including charging and giving change.
• Walk, bend, stand, and carry or balance a serving tray over the length and width of the vessel for 95% of the shift.
• Finalize transactions using multiple point-of-sale systems, including handling cash, comps, credit cards, and tokens.
• Maneuver, reach, and stoop in the bar area to obtain beverage ingredients and products.
• Work individually or with others to perform duties.
• Read and utilize cleaning products appropriately.
• Operate banks and registers; use math skills for banking transactions.
• Handle weights of up to 20 lbs.
• Have working knowledge of specialty glassware for beverages.
• Maintain a sense of urgency.
• Possess product knowledge of alcohol, liquors, and wines to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisors or managers.
• Obtain a beverage permit within 30 days of employment.
• Previous food and beverage or beverage serving experience is preferred.
