Responsibilities

• Foster a fun environment.
• Be a gracious host to all guests and co‑workers.
• Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company‑sponsored events.
• Provide personalized service and use guests’ names.
• Resolve service problems according to guidelines.
• Serve as an ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions; appear in publicity photos.
• Promote gaming events and programs.
• Provide fast (20 minute or less round time), friendly, professional beverage service to gaming guests; carry full trays on every round.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines.
• Take drink orders, communicate with bartender, assist in the preparation of drinks and present drinks to guests.
• Handle money according to procedure.
• Work well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisors, and gaming supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and stocked workstation.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.

• Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
• Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with guests.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Read, write legibly, understand and speak English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Count money and change correctly.
• Know or be able to learn tray service and cocktail ingredients.
• Available to work required schedule, which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation.
• Respond to visual and oral cues.
• Lift and carry 20 lbs. (full cocktail tray) for extended periods of time.
• Work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
• Be physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
