Job summary

Hollywood Casino At Kansas Speedway is seeking an energetic bartender/server to deliver fast, friendly beverage service in a lively casino setting. You will carry trays, take orders, and coordinate with bartenders while ensuring accurate cash handling.

Applicants should have strong communication skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be available for nights, weekends, and holidays. ServSafe and TiPS certifications are preferred or pursued, with a professional appearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carry full trays on every round.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed per guidelines.
• Take drink orders, communicate with bartenders, assist in drink preparation and presentation.
• Handle money according to procedure; operate cash register and balance at shift end.
• Maintain clean and stocked workstation and participate as a team member.
• Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements; adhere to policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Resolve service problems according to guidelines.
• Appear in publicity photos.
• Promote casino events and programs.
• Provide fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests; carries full trays on every round.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and intervene as needed according to guidelines
• Take drink orders, communicates with bartenders, assist in the preparation of drinks and present drinks to guests.
• Handle money according to procedure; operate cash register, take money, make change, and make deposits at the end of shift.
• Maintains clean and stocked workstation.
• Participate as a team member with all servers, venue hosts, supervisors and kitchen staff in maintaining a smooth and efficient operation.
• Declare tips through time and attendance system at the end of each shift.
• Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
• Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
• Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
• Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
• Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
• Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned.
