The role combines hands-on welding with automation, requiring 2+ years in welding or automated manufacturing, blueprint literacy, and precision measurement skills. Evening shift with potential OT offers opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in production MIG welding, structural fabrication, CNC, or automated manufacturing.
- Ability to read complex blueprints and weld symbols.
- Comfort using precision measurement tools and touch-screen tech.
Responsibilities
- Operate cobot weld cells to produce high-quality welds.
- Set up and changeover cobot programs for varying parts.
- Load/unload fixtures and heavy steel parts.
- Monitor cobot performance and adjust weld parameters.
- Inspect finished parts to AWS/structural standards.
- Perform daily cobot maintenance and safety checks.
- Collaborate with welders and engineers to optimize processes.
- Document production activity and quality checks.
