Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping is seeking a 2nd shift Robotic Welding Cell Set up/Operator to join our DJS Manufacturing team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on operating robotic welding equipment, reading shop orders and drawings, and producing assemblies to quality standards during the second shift with a premium pay structure.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and/or robotic welding equipment.
• Read shop orders and engineering drawings to determine specifications.
• Safely apply welds per specifications to produce finished products.
• Assemble metal work pieces to quality and efficiency standards.
• Measure dimensions using calipers, micrometers, height gauges and rulers.
• Perform quality checks and report issues to lead or supervisor.
• Document and maintain information in written or electronic form.
• Conduct preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems and welders.
• Develop robot path motions to maximize efficiency, safety and quality.
