Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Cobot Robotic Weld Operator for the 2nd shift to manage cobot weld cells and ensure high-quality welds. The role requires setup, calibration, and ability to read blueprints, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Hourly rate starts at $20.94 with a $1 shift differential and eligibility for a variable incentive. The position is onsite in Greenwood, with core hours 3 PM–1 AM and experience in manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of manufacturing experience.
• No immigration sponsorship considered (no CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/O-1/etc.).
• No relocation benefit; must reside within 50-mile radius of Greenwood facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate cobot welding cell to produce high-quality welds.
• Set up, start, change over, and shut down cobot welding operations.
• Fabricate parts from steel, aluminum, and cast metal per blueprints.
• Perform welding, joining, and cutting with cobots and verify program execution.
• Inspect finished parts with tape measures and calipers for accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and conduct root cause analysis for quality or production issues.
• Follow TPM/5S protocols for machine maintenance as part of daily duties.
