Job summary

Wisconsin Stamping and Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd Shift Robotic Welder to operate a MIG welding robot and support a growing metal fabrication team. The role requires reading engineering drawings, following specifications, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers full-time hours, with a second shift schedule (6am-2pm) and opportunities for skill development in robotics and welding technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience running a Panasonic TA series MIG welding robot.
• Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual and robotic welding equipment as specified.
• Read shop orders and drawings to meet specifications.
• Safely apply welds to produce quality products within standards.
• Meet quality and efficiency targets for assemblies of metal pieces.
• Measure dimensions and inspect parts using calipers and gauges.
• Document work data in written or electronic form.
• Perform basic maintenance on robotic systems and welders.
• Develop efficient robotic path motions and adjust robot movements.
