Job summary

AkzoNobel is seeking a Site Manager to oversee overall manufacturing in line with specifications and business objectives at the Ohio site. You will guide the site management team, promote policy implementation, and drive HSE and continuous improvement culture.

You will lead an operational excellence agenda, coach others, manage budgets, and collaborate with RD&I for new product introductions, ensuring performance and cost discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field required.
• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience required.
• Strong leadership and people-development skills required.
• Able to manage multiple projects with clear prioritization and organization.
• Good communication with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to site objectives from a production perspective and incorporate site plan constraints.
• Lead operational excellence to improve safety, reliability, productivity, quality and eco-efficiency.
• Implement ALPS, CoE, and Quality processes for site consistency.
• Develop and coach team members; set objectives and provide feedback.
• Manage human resources and talent development; identify growth potential.
• Participate in investments for production activities and equipment.
