AkzoNobel in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Site Engineer with responsibility for all engineering and maintenance activities. The role includes owning the PSM program, safety initiatives, and overseeing capital projects from planning to completion.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets, and coordinate with HSE, Quality, and Production to deliver reliable operations and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years managing or supervising others.
• At least 5 years in chemical processing or industrial plant operations.
• Ability to manage multiple capital projects from design to implementation.
• Strong understanding of engineering processes and equipment capabilities.
• Experience in contract management, scheduling, construction, and engineering management.

Responsabilités

• Oversee site engineering and maintenance to ensure on-time orders.
• Manage capital and expense projects from scope to closure.
• Plan and embed engineering changes within quality and cost objectives.
• Direct capital investments and coordinate with HSE, Quality, Production.
• Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers; vendor selection.
• Develop and manage maintenance budget.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and process safety management.
