Unicoat Industrial Roofing is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate commercial roof coatings opportunities, manage a structured pipeline, and close deals across the Central Florida market. This hunter role focuses on building trust with building owners, facility managers, and GCs, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to handoff to operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years selling coatings, service, maintenance, or reroof solutions in commercial roofing.
• History of achieving $1M–$2M+ in annual sales on a mixed coatings and reroof book.
• Structured, disciplined approach to pipeline management, CRM usage, and monthly forecasting.
• Proven experience building proposals, presenting solutions, and closing value-based deals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; polished, professional presence in front of customers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting & Pipeline Development: Build and grow a pipeline of coatings and reroof opportunities across the Bradenton and surrounding Central Florida market.
• Inspections & Scoping: Perform roof inspections and site assessments to identify coating and reroof opportunities.
• Proposal, Negotiation & Close: Build and present value-based proposals that compete on expertise and long-term cost of ownership.
• Customer Relationships & Retention: Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with a customer base that generates repeat business and referrals.
• Operations Collaboration: Partner with the President on scope, pricing, scheduling, and delivery to ensure what is sold can be executed profitably.
• Post-job follow-up to drive satisfaction and identify future opportunities.
