Job summary

NSG Group seeks a dedicated Shift Supervisor at our Ottawa, IL site to lead safety and production initiatives. You will train and audit shift teams, drive corrective actions, and ensure adherence to the CBA while maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating manpower, monitoring real-time KPIs, and collaborating with process engineers to optimize performance and minimize waste. A Bachelor’s degree and hands-on leadership experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technically related field or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent communication & human relations skills; verbal and written.
• Strong ability to prioritize and organize objectives to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and environmental leadership on shift; train, audit, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead shift supervision to complete production schedule and optimize KPI performance.
• Maintain manning and UKG records; coordinate with plant teams to meet production goals.
• Collaborate with process engineers to support process improvement and SOP updates.
• Mentor shift supervisors in structured problem-solving and waste reduction.
