NSG Group, located in Kentucky, seeks an experienced shift supervisor to lead operations, uphold health and safety standards, and drive continuous improvement. You will coach teams, manage performance, and coordinate staffing across 12-hour shifts to meet production and quality targets.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to work within a unionized, manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety principles, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, develop, and hold employees accountable for performance.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
• Ability to work a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shift operations to achieve production, quality, cost, delivery, and downtime objectives.
• Monitor and manage shop floor performance, providing direction, coaching, and support to meet targets.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage by qualified employees.
