Job summary

NSG Group is seeking a production supervisor in Ottawa, IL. This role leads hourly teams to meet production schedules in a continuous manufacturing environment.

You will monitor performance, coordinate staffing, and drive process improvements while ensuring safety and housekeeping standards. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead hourly workforce to meet production schedules and optimize line performance.
• Monitor yields, losses, and KPIs to anticipate and respond to performance issues.
• Maintain shift staffing, timecards, and shift summary reports.
• Collaborate with plant supervision to meet goals and optimize maintenance.
• Support Production Manager and process engineers with improvement actions.
• Coordinate training for shift crews and implement Quick Kaizens.
• Ensure safety, housekeeping, and adherence to standards.
