Job summary

Pilkington North America Inc. in an Illinois plant seeks a capable shift supervisor responsible for safety, quality and production performance.

You will lead the shift team, train supervisors, perform audits and drive corrective actions to sustain a safe and efficient operation. You will optimize real-time KPIs, coordinate with process engineers, manage staffing and records, and ensure adherence to the CBA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience supervising people in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business or technically related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong prioritization and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with MS Office and computer systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership on shift; train supervisors and conduct audits.
• Direct shift supervision to meet production schedule and optimize KPIs.
• Maintain staffing levels and ensure UKG records are accurate.
• Collaborate with plant teams to meet production goals and maintenance.
• Support process engineers in continuous improvement and SOP updates.
• Enforce safety rules and 5S; address issues promptly.
• Cover shift vacancies and ensure compliance with the CBA.
