Job summary

Saint-Gobain is seeking a Production Supervisor in the United States to lead and direct the production line team, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role requires coaching and mentoring direct reports and maintaining compliance with EH&S policies.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, strong knowledge of SOPs, and the ability to drive continuous improvement with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, motivate, and engage teams while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all Production activities for assigned lines to meet or exceed specifications and quality requirements.
• Confer with Production Manager to establish work schedules, assignments, and production requirements.
• Observe work, monitor performance, and assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Interpret production specs and determine acceptability of in-process production.
• Support activities such as Maintenance and Engineering.
• Maintain knowledge of products and manufacturing processes within specification.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and maintain a safe, accident-free work environment.
• Advise and counsel Production team members, using progressive discipline when warranted.
