Job summary

Violet Valet LLC in New York City is seeking professional, energetic Coat Check Attendants to join our hospitality team for the upcoming event season. This is a part-time, seasonal role with opportunities to work at diverse venues and events across NYC.

You’ll greet guests, tag and store coats and personal items, retrieve belongings accurately, and provide excellent customer service while upholding company procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous coat check or hospitality experience is helpful.
• Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Professional and well-presented.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests professionally.
• Receive, tag, organize, and safely store coats and personal items.
• Accurately retrieve guest belongings.
• Maintain an organized and secure coat check area.

Violet Valet LLC is hiring professional, energetic, and dependable Coat Check Attendants to join our growing New York City hospitality team for the upcoming event season.

With more than 20 years of industry experience, Violet Valet provides professional coat check and guest services for corporate events, luxury venues, galas, private events, nightlife establishments, and large-scale productions throughout New York City.

This Is More Than a Seasonal Position

Our attendants have the opportunity to work at a variety of exciting venues and events throughout New York City while gaining valuable experience in hospitality, guest services, and event operations.

We believe in developing our team from within. Employees who demonstrate reliability, professionalism, leadership, and a strong work ethic may have opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and advance into Team Lead, Supervisor, and Management positions as our company continues to grow.

What You’ll Do

As a Coat Check Attendant, you will help create an organized, welcoming, and professional experience for guests. Responsibilities may include:

• Greeting and assisting guests in a professional manner
• Receiving, tagging, organizing, and safely storing coats, bags, and personal items
• Accurately retrieving guest belongings
• Maintaining an organized and secure coat check area
• Providing excellent customer service throughout each event
• Following Violet Valet operating procedures and venue requirements
• Working closely with team leads, managers, venue staff, and fellow attendants
• Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude throughout your shift
