Chinese Tuxedo in New York, NY, is seeking a detail-oriented Coat Check Attendant for the Fall/Winter season at our Chinatown-based venue. You will manage coats, tickets, and lost items with a focus on accuracy and customer service, supporting a fast-paced dining environment.

Ideal candidates are organized, reliable, and available to work high-volume shifts including weekends and holidays, contributing to a collaborative team at Tuxedo Hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Collect and manage coats and items dropped off by front of house staff.
• Maintain a neat, organized coat check area.
• Issue and collect tickets to ensure items return to owners.
• Collect and store lost items after events.
• Availability on Thursday through Saturday during holidays and peak periods.

Job description

We are looking for well organized, multitasker to join our team at Chinese Tuxedo and Opera House as our Coat Check Attendant through the Fall/Winter season. Availability to work high volume shifts weekend's, as well as Holidays is essential.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collecting, storing, and returning coats and items dropped off by front of house staff
• Maintain a neat, organized coat check
• Give & collect tickets from fellow Tuxedo Employees, guaranteeing the items return to the rightful owner
• Collect lost items after events and store them.
• Holiday and availability on Thursday through Saturday.
