Delta Hotel by Marriott Virginia Beach Waterfront (part of Crescent Hotels & Resorts) is seeking a Kitchen Supervisor to lead daily kitchen operations at the Tides Coastal Kitchen Culinary team. You will oversee setup, production, and staff, ensuring quality and efficiency in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You will coach team members, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to communicate in English and maintain a professional appearance.
• Able to supervise, coach, train and discipline kitchen staff as needed.
• Able to operate all types of kitchen equipment and lift up to 100 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Assign, coordinate, and supervise kitchen setup and food production areas to maximize productivity and quality.
• Train and direct kitchen staff to maximize productivity and minimize waste.
• Review daily production records with the Executive Chef or Sous Chef to ensure accurate estimates.
• Pull daily production from the walk-in and utilize leftovers.
• Communicate directions clearly to staff; attend meetings; promote teamwork.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow the clean-as-you-go policy; ensure proper workstation setup.
• Prepare daily production charts; ensure breakfast, lunch, or dinner setups.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be available for regular shifts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
