Job summary

Tides Coastal Kitchen Restaurant at the Delta Hotel by Marriott Virginia Beach Waterfront is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member. You will prepare food to recipe cards, ensure quality, and support daily kitchen operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and portion standards.
• Availability to work a regular schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Start ahead items and ensure proper portioning and timing.
• Rotate perishables and date stored items per standards.
• Check pars, plan preparation, and keep buffet stocked as needed.
• Return unused food to storage, cover and date perishables.
• Assist in controlling food cost and waste per Crescent standards.
• Operate and clean kitchen equipment such as fryers, ovens, and steam tables.
• Adhere to attendance rules and be reliable for shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
