Job summary

The Ranch at Laguna Beach is seeking a skilled Cook to manage all beach café food production. You will prepare ingredients, cook menu items, and ensure dishes meet high quality standards with strict sanitation practices.

Responsibilities include setting up stations, stocking supplies, and coordinating with the Executive Chef to deliver timely service. Prior full-service restaurant experience is preferred and team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain licenses or permits as needed.
• Certified Cook level or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and stock kitchen stations with required supplies.
• Prepare food for service including chopping, butcher work, and sauces.
• Cook menu items to Lost Pier standards and guest requests.
• Ensure timely, high-quality plates and manage leftovers safely.
• Maintain sanitation and safety regulations throughout service.
