Job summary

The Ranch at Laguna Beach is hiring a Dishwasher/Steward to clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, pots and pans for Ranch LB properties. You will ensure adequate dishware for each shift and maintain the dish pit and storage areas, while supporting food prep as needed.

Team members should uphold strict sanitation standards in all kitchens, endure temperature extremes, and work a structured schedule with regular training and disciplinary guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent education required.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits.
• Prior experience as a steward in a full-service restaurant or resort.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all china, glassware, silverware, pots and pans.
• Ensure the restaurant and banquet kitchens have the required amounts of dishware for each shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish pit and storage room.
• Responsible for sanitation of all kitchens and food prep areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, and surfaces.
• Empty trash continuously to maintain cleanliness.
• Assist with food prep duties as needed.
