Job summary

Fibre Federal Credit Union in Newport, Oregon, is seeking a Business Relationship Manager for the Southern Oregon Coast Region (Newport and Lincoln City). The role focuses on growing the business banking client base and expanding commercial lending, deposits, and related treasury services.

As an outside sales position, you will meet with local businesses, build referral networks, and coordinate with internal partners to support loan applications and cross-sell credit union products.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of related business development or lending experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or industry certifications equivalent.
• Ability to identify prospects, make business development calls, and develop referral relationships.
• Working knowledge of commercial lending concepts and loan processes.
• Working knowledge of business deposit products and online banking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and pipeline management skills.
• Bondable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business development plan.
• Promote lending products and build relationships with local businesses.
• Generate lending, deposits, and service opportunities with prospective members.
• Coordinate loan application intake and closing processes.
• Promote business deposit growth and treasury-related services.
• Maintain accurate pipeline and follow-up activities.
• Collaborate with branches and internal partners to grow market.
• Keep aware of local business conditions and competitors.
