Coastal States Bank is seeking a Regional Credit Officer to coordinate day-to-day lending activities with Relationship Managers and the Credit Department. The role analyzes financials, reviews client performance, and assesses creditworthiness to extend prudent credit to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities include collaborating on loan structuring, performing due diligence, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing financials and assessing borrower creditworthiness.
• Ability to collaborate with Relationship Managers on loan requests.
• Knowledge of lending policies and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in underwriting and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Relationship Managers in credit structuring and understanding client’s loan request.
• Attend periodic calls with existing and potential borrowers to support regional growth.
• Perform due diligence of loan requests and assess risks.
• Maintain understanding of lending policies and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Participate in quarterly watchlist calls with recommendations for problem resolution.
• Contribute to special projects and reports as assigned by the Supervisor.
