Job summary

Waller Independent School District’s Turlington Elementary School is seeking a SPED-Inclusive Practices/Resource Co-Teacher. The role involves collaborative co-teaching within the general education setting and providing inclusive services under IEPs. Immediate start date and 187 annual work days.

The position reports to the Principal and adheres to the Teacher Pay Scale. Requires a Texas special education certification and relevant experience with ARD/IEP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Appropriate Texas teaching certificate (e.g. Special Education EC-12 and generalist/core certificates; ESL certificate if applicable).
• Experience with inclusive practices and co-teaching is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ARD/IEP meetings and documentation.
• Collaborate with staff to provide inclusive practice and co-teaching support.
• Implement IEP goals and adapt instruction for students with disabilities.
• Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate records.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
