RTX (Raytheon) in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Software Engineer to develop state-of-the-art software for our Microelectronics wafer fab. You will collaborate across disciplines to integrate software with hardware and contribute to multiple product lines.

Candidates pursuing a STEM degree should have experience with SQL databases, version control, and full lifecycle software practices; knowledge of Python, C#, Flask, AngularJS, and APIs is preferred. Onsite interviews may be required.

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) discipline.
• Experience with software engineering tools, including version control and debuggers.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with full lifecycle software development practices and configuration management tools.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
• Experience developing in Agile and/or DevOps environments is preferred.
• Experience developing in a Windows environment is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and fix complex software problems.
• Experience with API concepts and technologies (e.g., JSON, XML).
• Experience with Python, Flask, AngularJS and C#.
• Experience using Confluence, Jira, and Git; familiarity with Atlassian tools.
• Experience working with embedded electronics or automated test equipment is a plus.
