Job summary

RTX is seeking a Software Engineer to join our on-site team in Cedar Rapids, IA, contributing to state-of-the-art software for the Microelectronics wafer fab. You will work with multiple disciplines to embed technology into a broad product portfolio and participate in requirements, design, coding, and integration activities.

The role requires pursuing a STEM degree with experience in full software lifecycle practices, version control, and databases such as SQL Server; familiarity with Python,

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM discipline.
Experience with software engineering tools, version control and debuggers.
Experience with SQL and databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with full lifecycle software development practices and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

Develop state-of-the-art software systems for the Microelectronics wafer fab.
Collaborate across disciplines to embed technology into product portfolios.
Participate in requirements definition, software design, implementation, and integration.
Support multiple product lines with software/hardware integration.
