RTX is seeking a Software Engineering Co-op in Cedar Rapids, IA, to contribute to real-time embedded software for avionics and cockpit systems. You will work with a cross-functional team to design, implement, test, and verify software across multiple processing platforms.

The role emphasizes learning aircraft systems engineering, compliance with aviation standards, and collaboration with global teams. Candidates must be pursuing a STEM degree and able to commit to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
• Willing to work 40 hours per week.
• Minimum of 60 credits by start of internship/co-op session.
• Experience gained through coursework, projects, or on-the-job work.

Responsabilités

• Develop and support real-time embedded software for flight-critical avionics.
• Contribute to design, development, and verification of software across platforms.
• Assist with requirements specification, test case development, verification, and certification support.
