RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Systems Engineer Co-Op to help ensure avionics software performs reliably in real-world environments. You will develop requirements, tests, and system integration within a collaborative Agile team.

You will design software requirements using DOORs and create automated Python test scripts, while supporting verification events and cross-functional collaboration. This role offers hands-on learning across aerospace systems with strong mentorship.

Qualificações

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with scripting using Python (or similar).

Responsabilidades

• Help ensure mission-critical avionics software performs flawlessly in the real world within an Agile team.
• Develop requirements, tests, verification, and software & systems integration.
• Design and define software requirements using DOORs and develop automated tests using Python.
• Verify software builds in integrated lab environments and support formal verification events.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine system requirements and present progress to leadership.
