Job summary

RTX is seeking a student software engineering intern to contribute to state-of-the-art software systems for our microelectronics wafer fab. You will engage in requirements definition, software design, implementation, and software/hardware integration across multiple product lines.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field, with exposure to version control, debugging, SQL databases, and full lifecycle software development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM).
• Experience with software engineering tools, including version control and debuggers.
• Experience with SQL and databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server).
• Familiarity with full lifecycle software development practices and configuration management tools.

Responsibilities

• Involved in requirements definition and collaboration on software design.
• Implementing software and performing software/hardware integration.
• Contribute to key decisions for the development of applications across multiple product lines.
