RTX is seeking a Software/Systems engineer to join a team of engineers developing flight management software for military aircraft. You will design, develop, and test software features integrated into helicopters and planes, collaborating with software and systems engineers to deliver reliable capabilities.

Bachelor's in STEM, experience in C, C++, ADA and Python, plus a willingness to work onsite in Cedar Rapids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience with C, C++, ADA, and/or Python.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team of Software and Systems engineers to design, develop, and test software features for flight management systems that are integrated into military helicopters and planes.
• Integrates soft skills (leadership, communication, coordination, proactiveness) into a dynamic environment that provides quality and timely products to internal and external customers.
