Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a store leader to serve as Senior Co-Manager in a family-owned, growing retail environment. You will help manage all aspects of store operations, lead departments, and drive sales growth while maintaining guest satisfaction.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and development of hi-potential employees, with strong focus on meeting budgets, controlling costs, and upholding sanitation and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years supermarket management experience.
• Retail management knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in implementing an in-store sales-building culture and execute merchandising programs and weekly sales plans.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and front-end fast service commitment.
• Achieve budgeted financial results and support overall store performance.
• Protect assets via weekly audits and manage inventory shrink to target.
• Control store expenses including wage percent and staffing decisions.
• Assist in staffing, forecasting, recruitment, and training; build a talent bench for growth.
• Set clear expectations and provide feedback through reviews and coaching.
• Conduct frequent store walks to monitor conditions and opportunities.
• Develop and coach store management and department managers for growth.
• Ensure sanitation and food safety standards are upheld.
• Foster positive morale and a selling-focused culture; communicate effectively across teams.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and federal/state/local regulations and maintain a safe facility.
