Job summary

RaceTrac is seeking a Co-Manager to be the heartbeat of the store, supporting the General Manager, leading by example, and developing a winning team. You will drive store performance, mentor staff, and uphold RaceTrac’s mission of making people’s lives simpler and more enjoyable.

You will operate with autonomy within proven systems, in a dynamic, high-volume environment, and have access to leadership training and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in retail, food service, or restaurant leadership.
• 1+ year of management experience preferred.
• Strong coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop a high-performing team.
• Cultivate a guest-first culture, ensuring welcoming interactions.
• Mentor Shift Managers and team members through training and coaching.
• Empower teams by setting clear expectations and giving feedback.
• Foster open communication across all shifts.
• Assist in executing store-level strategies to drive sales and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels, vendor relationships, and cash control.
• Drive promotional execution and ensure food service compliance.
• Maintain store cleanliness and alignment with brand standards.
• Champion food safety and compliance with safety regulations.
• Conduct regular food quality checks and coach on standards.
• Manage documentation for audits or inspections.
• Support scheduling and staffing in coordination with the GM.
• Provide performance feedback and drive accountability.
