Job summary

Crossover is hiring a Master Teacher to co-lead a full public-school classroom in collaboration with a district-employed teacher. The role centers on motivation, culture, and hands-on learning, not lectures.

You'll design project-based workshops, model new practices, and coach in real time to empower the partner teacher. This is a true partnership in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX, with a $100,000 annual salary and full-time W2 benefits.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as the primary teacher responsible for a full-size public-school classroom.
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing other educators in a public-school setting.
• Experience personally designing and delivering a project-based learning unit from the ground up.
• Demonstrated ability to build a classroom culture based on student ownership, clear expectations, accountability, and motivation.
• Strong interpersonal judgment and the ability to influence experienced peers without relying on formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the day, student outcomes, and classroom culture with a district teacher.
• Build a student-led culture using clear goals, live data, relationships, peer accountability, and incentives.
• Design original project-based workshops to develop future-ready skills with measurable outcomes.
• Model Alpha practices, give timely feedback, and help your partner teacher build confidence and skill.
• Track daily student engagement and progress, adjust strategies based on data.
