Job summary

Crossover is hiring a Master Teacher to co-lead a full public-school classroom in tandem with a district teacher. The role centers on motivating students, building ownership, and delivering Alpha's learning approach in real-world settings.

You'll spend mornings applying TimeBack adaptive learning while focusing on practices that technology can't replace, coaching the partner teacher, and modeling effective instructional strategies to scale the model across the classroom and year.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as the primary teacher responsible for a full-size public-school classroom.
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing other educators in a public-school setting.
• Experience designing and delivering a project-based learning unit from scratch.
• Ability to build a classroom culture based on ownership, clear expectations, accountability, and motivation.
• Willingness to work in person in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX.

Responsibilities

• Co-leading the classroom with a district teacher and co-own outcomes.
• Build a student-led culture with data, relationships, and incentives.
• Design original project-based learning workshops with measurable mastery.
• Coach through action and provide in-the-moment feedback.
• Track daily student engagement and adjust approaches based on data.
