Job summary

Crossover is seeking experienced public-school educators to co-lead a full classroom in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX. You will work as a partner with a district-employed teacher to implement Alpha's mastery-based learning model and to motivate students, design projects, and develop future-ready skills.

This full-time, W2 role offers $100,000 USD per year, with weekly pay, and opportunities to coach peers and scale the model across classrooms.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of experience as the primary teacher responsible for a full-size public-school classroom.
Experience leading, coaching, or developing other educators in a public-school setting.
Experience designing and delivering a project-based learning unit from the ground up.
Ability to build a classroom culture based on ownership, clear expectations, accountability, and motivation.
Strong interpersonal judgment and ability to influence peers without formal authority.

Responsibilities

Co-own the day, student outcomes, and classroom culture with a district teacher.
Build a student-led culture using data, relationships, and accountability.
Design original project-based workshops to develop future-ready skills.
Model Alpha practices and coach the partner teacher through the work.
Track daily student engagement and adjust approach based on data.
