Job summary

Crossover seeks experienced public-school educators to co-lead a full classroom in partnership with a district-employed teacher, implementing Alpha’s adaptive learning model in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX.

You will focus on motivation, culture, and skill development, collaborating with an experienced educator to drive student ownership and mastery in a real-world classroom setting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as the primary teacher responsible for a full-size public-school classroom.
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing other educators in a public-school setting.
• Experience personally designing and delivering a project-based learning unit from the ground up.
• Demonstrated ability to build a classroom culture based on student ownership, clear expectations, accountability, and motivation.
• Strong interpersonal judgment and the ability to influence experienced peers without relying on formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the classroom with a district teacher and build a true working partnership.
• Create and sustain a student-led culture with clear goals and live data.
• Design original project-based learning workshops with measurable outcomes.
• Coach through action, modeling Alpha practices and providing timely feedback.
• Monitor student data daily and adjust methods to improve engagement and mastery.
