Alpha is hiring in-person guides to run a full public-school classroom, partnering with a district-employed teacher in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX.

You bring deep classroom experience, a track record of developing other educators, and the ability to design project-based workshops that build future-ready skills. Your partner provides knowledge of the students and the school, and together you model new practices in real time.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as the primary teacher for a public-school class of 20–30 students.
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing other educators in public-school settings.
• Experience designing and delivering project-based learning with clear objectives and mastery checks.
• Ability to build a classroom culture based on ownership, clear expectations, accountability, and data-driven action.

Responsibilities

• Run the classroom alongside a district teacher as a true partner.
• Build a student-led culture with data-informed goals and incentives.
• Design original, measurable project-based workshops.
• Coach through action and model Alpha practices in real time.
• Act on student data daily to adapt approaches and improve outcomes.
