Job summary

Alpha is hiring experienced public-school educators to co-run a full classroom with a district teacher in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX. You’ll focus on motivating students, designing project-based workshops, and building future-ready skills.

You’ll coach in real time, model Alpha practices, and help the partner teacher grow into the model over time. Relocation is welcome; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as the primary teacher responsible for a public-school class of 20-30 students.
• Bachelor's degree and a teaching license from any state (license expired within 5 years qualifies).
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing other educators in a public-school setting.
• Experience designing and delivering a project-based learning unit with clear objectives and assessments.
• Ability to build a classroom culture based on student ownership using data to guide progress.
• Willingness to work in person at Springfield, MA or Houston, TX; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Co-leading the classroom with a district teacher and co-owning outcomes and culture.
• Building a student-led culture with clear goals, live data, and peer accountability.
• Designing project-based learning workshops developing future-ready skills.
• Coaching through action and providing timely feedback to build confidence.
