Job summary

Alpha is hiring experienced public-school educators to co-run a full classroom, partnering with a district-employed teacher to implement the Alpha model in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX. This is a full-time W2 role with in-person duties and a $100,000 annual salary.

You will focus on student motivation, ownership, and project-based workshops, using data to guide instruction while modeling new practices in real time. Relocation is welcome and visa sponsorship is not required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as primary teacher in a public-school class.
• Experience leading or developing other educators in a public-school setting.
• Experience delivering a project-based learning unit with clear objectives and assessments.
• Ability to build classroom culture with ownership, clear expectations, accountability and motivation.
• Strong interpersonal judgement to influence peers without formal authority.
• Willingness to work in person in Springfield, MA or Houston, TX with US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Co-own the day, student outcomes, and classroom culture with a district teacher.
• Create a student-led culture with live data and incentives.
• Design original workshops to develop future-ready skills.
• Coach through action and build partner teacher confidence in the model.
• Track daily student engagement and learning data to adapt approaches.
