Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining-related training/certification is a plus.
• Hands-on experience as a CNC lathe machinist or closely related turning role.
• Confidence reading prints and specifications.
• Solid understanding of CNC programming and machine operation.
• Skill using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts that meet specification.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan machining strategies.
• Track machine performance during runs and make adjustments to maintain quality and consistency.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on CNC turning equipment.

You load tools, dial in your setup, write or edit programs, and run first-off parts.
