Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our Houston production team. In this role you will set up and operate CNC turning centers, use live tooling, validate offsets, and perform first article inspections to ensure parts meet tight tolerances.

You’ll monitor tool wear, adjust feeds and speeds for efficiency, read engineering prints, and collaborate across shifts to optimize programs and production flow, while maintaining a safe, clean workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; machining trade school or technical certification preferred.
• Experience as CNC machinist (turning) or similar precision manufacturing role.
• Fluent reading of engineering prints and blueprints; strong measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning equipment to manufacture parts to specification.

About the RoleBased in Houston, TX 77041, you’ll be a key contributor on our production floor—owning the setup, programming, and operation of CNC turning centers to deliver precision parts on time and to spec. You prep a CNC lathe with live tooling, validate offsets, and run a first-article inspection using micrometers and gauges. While parts run, you monitor tool wear, adjust feeds and speeds, and keep an eye on cycle efficiency. You collaborate with teammates to fine-tune processes, document production data, and flag any discrepancies.
