Job summary

MTI Motion is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist in Wisconsin to operate 3- and 4-axis CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls in a job-shop setting. You will perform changeovers, execute edits/ offsets, and ensure first-piece inspections with documented results.

Strong GD&T, precision measurement, and experience in ISO-9001/AS-9100 environments are essential. You will also train others, maintain quality documentation, and work toward production goals while adhering to safety and housekeeping

Qualifications

3-5 years of setup and operation on 3- and 4-axis CNC turning machines.

Responsibilities

Retrieve job details, routing, drawings, and inspection sheets.
Review raw material for dimensions and heat lot traceability.
Perform change-overs and first piece inspections with required edits/offsets.
Use precision tools to measure features and document results per inspection requirements.
Troubleshoot machining and programming issues as they occur.
Operate secondary equipment to finish parts and maintain cleanliness and safety.
Record labor and production information using PC/laptop.
Train other operators as needed on job-related items.
Provide end-of-shift reports and maintain area housekeeping.
