Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions is seeking a CNC Turning Operations Specialist to turn detailed plans into finished parts on precision lathes. You will handle material pull, setup, and minor repairs while maintaining a clean, safe workstation and aligning with team goals.

You will read schematics, follow work instructions, and communicate clearly with teammates to hit quality and schedule targets in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints and follow documented instructions.
• Must maintain safety standards and proper PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders and schematics to plan the run.
• Pull materials and set up for the CNC turning operation.
• Assemble parts and perform minor repairs with hand and power tools.
• Conduct product and material safety checks and keep the workstation clean.
• Coordinate with teammates to meet quality and schedule targets.

CNC Turning Operations SpecialistStep into a hands-on production role where precision, safety, and teamwork shape every shift. From clock-in to clock-out, you’ll turn detailed plans into finished parts while supporting a smooth manufacturing flow.What your day looks likeYou’ll begin by reviewing work orders and schematics, then pulling the right materials for the run. Throughout the shift, you’ll assemble and make minor repairs using common hand and power tools (think tape measures and power tools), perform product and material safety checks, and keep your workstation organized and clean. You’ll coordinate closely with teammates, communicating clearly to keep work moving, and follow your supervisor’s day-to-day guidance to hit quality and schedule targets.
