Job summary

Gosiger in Plymouth, MI is seeking a CNC Machine Tool Field Service Technician to troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain equipment at customer sites and Gosiger facilities. You will document actions, coordinate with customers, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires an Associate degree or CNC certification, 2 years of experience, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Associate degree or CNC machine tool certification is required.
Minimum 2 years experience with troubleshooting, installation, and repair of machine tools.
Good interpersonal communication and professional conduct with customers, peers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and solves CNC machine tool issues.
Installs machines/tools with high quality and efficiency.
Performs repair and preventative maintenance as assigned.
Follows safety standards and quality levels in all work.
Trains customers and internal staff on installation/repair procedures.
Documents all actions and findings using service software; reports parts required and repairs typically within 24 hours.
Collaborates with team, internal departments, and vendors to resolve installation/repair issues.
Identifies process improvements and suggests equipment/process enhancements.
Communicates arrival, progress, and checkout to customers after service.
Maintains cleanliness and care of company property.
Willing to travel; may work weekends/evenings as required; passport may be required for some assignments.
