Job summary

Seco Tools seeks an experienced Walter CNC Set‑Up Operator in Reynoldsville, PA. The operator will set up, prove out, and operate CNC tool & cutter grinding machines to produce high-quality round cutting tools. Ideal candidates should have experience with CNC machines, strong understanding of round tool geometry, and proficiency in reading technical drawings. This full-time position offers a chance to be part of a dedicated manufacturing team focused on quality production.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating Walter CNC tool & cutter grinding machines.
• Strong understanding of round tool geometry (end mills, drills, step tools, etc.).
• Ability to read technical drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Walter CNC tool & cutter grinders for round tool production.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Load programs and perform minor edits to ensure tool geometry accuracy.
• Perform first-piece inspection and in-process checks.
• Monitor machine performance and tool quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Troubleshoot machine issues as needed.
